“A Piece That Became a Lasting Favorite”


The JACKET DRESS has become a long-loved piece for special occasions such as weddings, entrance ceremonies, and graduations.

At POP UP events in department stores, someone looking for a wedding dress will sometimes happen to walk by, spot it, and say, “This is so cute.”

Sometimes they leave saying they want to look at a few other stores first, then come back and tell us, “This was still my favorite.” Those moments always make me very happy.

Because this dress is made to order, each piece is created with the customer’s special occasion in mind. Over the years, we have had the privilege of making it for many important days.

And sometimes, customers send us photos afterward of themselves wearing it at a wedding.

That always means a lot to me. It makes me feel genuinely grateful that I was able to make something that became part of someone’s special day.

But the JACKET DRESS does not have to be reserved only for occasions. Some customers continue wearing it in everyday life afterward. For a more elegant look, it can be paired with the CAMI DRESS or PLEAT CAMI DRESS. For something more casual, I also love styling it with a T-shirt and denim.

The JACKET DRESS was first created around spring 2022.

At the time, I honestly did not expect it to remain in the collection for so long.

It has never been one of our highest-volume pieces. But at POP UP events, we have seen again and again how happy people are when they find it and choose it for themselves.

I think a true signature piece is not defined only by sales numbers or quantity.

That is something this dress has taught me.
