Tapered pants crafted from 13.4 oz black denim. Large darts at the front and back create a sculpted silhouette that gradually narrows toward the hem, giving the otherwise simple design a distinctive shape.

The hem is cut with a subtle curve, adding an unexpected detail that sets them apart from traditional denim pants. An integrated nylon belt allows the waist to be adjusted for a comfortable fit.

Designed as a unisex piece for both men and women, these pants can be worn throughout the seasons. With wear, the black denim will also develop its own unique character over time.

The denim is washed before cutting and tumble-dried in advance to help minimize significant shrinkage after washing.

Although the fabric has been pre-washed, some color transfer may occur through friction, especially when the garment is new. Please take extra care when wearing it with white or light-colored clothing.

“A Pair of Pants That Connects Back to the Beginning”


Before starting my own brand, I worked as a patternmaker. During that time, I had the chance to create stagewear for a musician I really admired.

I was still relatively inexperienced, so I spent a lot of time experimenting and figuring things out as I went. One of the details that came out of that process was the idea of leaving the darts at the hem visible rather than hiding them.

Years later, after creating many different pieces under my own brand, I suddenly realized how often I use darts in my designs.

Darts are usually treated as a hidden construction detail, but I often bring them to the surface and let them become part of the design itself. Without really planning it, that approach became one of the details that defines the way I make clothes.

When I looked back at where that idea began, I remembered those early pants. I revisited them with my current perspective, refined the fit and details, and that became this tapered denim style.

A small detail I created almost casually years ago ended up becoming part of the way I design today.

That kind of connection is one of the things I find most interesting about making clothes.

Pre-Orders & Ordering

Many MASAHIRO OKUNO items are available on a pre-order basis.

Each item has its own pre-order period and estimated shipping schedule, so please check the relevant product page before placing your order. Orders will be shipped sequentially according to the stated shipping schedule.

As pre-order items are produced based on confirmed orders, cancellations and changes to color or size cannot generally be accepted once an order has been placed.

Please note that the estimated shipping schedule may change depending on production conditions. If there is a significant delay, we will contact you at the email address registered with your order.
Shipping & Delivery

Orders will be shipped according to the estimated shipping schedule shown on each product page. Once your order has been shipped, delivery information will be sent to your registered email address.

Shipping within Japan is ¥870 nationwide (¥1,780 for Hokkaido and Okinawa).
Free shipping is available on domestic orders of ¥20,000 or more (including tax).

If multiple items are ordered together, they may be shipped separately depending on their respective shipping schedules.

Delivery may be delayed due to weather conditions, transportation issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.


If you need to change your delivery address after placing your order, please contact us before the order has been shipped.
International Orders

We offer international shipping to the countries and regions available at checkout.

Shipping to Eurozone (EUR) destinations starts from ¥5,194 (€29.74).
Shipping rates vary depending on the quantity and weight of the items ordered, and the exact shipping cost will be displayed at checkout.

Any customs duties, import taxes, and VAT incurred on international shipments will be covered by our store. In principle, you will not be required to pay any additional charges upon delivery.

Please note that international shipping and customs clearance may occasionally result in longer delivery times.
Returns & Exchanges

As a general rule, we do not accept returns or exchanges for customer-related reasons, including incorrect sizing, a change of mind, differences in expectations, or ordering errors.

Before placing your order, please review the size guide, product description, materials, and specifications on each product page. If you have any questions about sizing, please contact us before placing your order.

If your item is defective or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will review the details and advise you on the appropriate next steps.
